Hi,
I have a question regarding dependants. I have a L1A Visa. I am going on a long trip to UK next month. Can my dependants stay back for 2 -3 months before joining me in UK. Their L 2 Visa and I 94 are valid till Feb 2009.

Guys,
I have created a search engine (http://immisearch.blogspot.com/) to help all people looking for a better way to search topics around immigration related activites. The search engine came as a result of my countless hours that I spent searching to answers around the web.
Try searching for any information with h1b, h4, Green Card, I-485, I140, citizenship etc, and the engine should give you a better result.

I have taken a 2 day stop over in Dubai while coming back to USA in April 2010. I booked my flight on Emirates. Emirates will sponsor my visa. But i am not sure now they allow Advance Parole as when i apply for visa one of the requirements says "Travel documents, such as re-entry permits and refugee documents are not permitted"

In Section , it was written as "Sec. 203 (b) (3) (A) (i) or (ii) ".
Not able to figure it out.

What happends if we don't get our checks cashed and no receipt after aug 17th, but the documents get returned.

in FireFox, there is a nothing next to the "Image Verification" field.
in IE, a "X" appears next to the "Image Verification" field, indicating the image cannot be displayed.
Anybody got this to work? Should I change any settings?

Effective July 9, 2010, the Department of State revised its visa reciprocity schedule for China to allow for a 12 month, multiple entry visa for H visa applicants. This will allow H-1B visa holders from China to have multiple entries into the U.S. for a 12 month period. If you have successfully transfered your PD after your I-140 approval. Please post your experience.
I have seen I-140 threads for a while ..everyone have a opinion ..but none of you have gone through it....its misleading we can quote different websites and USICS documents ..only people who actually transfered PD can share. How they did it. Whats the process. Please respond to this thread only if you have successfully transfered PD after I-140 approval.

What is the deal with swift? I can render a scene with 6400 polygons, and
when I try to render one with only 390 I run out of memory!
No the shape is not more complex, in fact it is almost the same scene as the
6400 only minus many of the squares. Thats all that is in the scene squares, cant render squares with out what 200+ megs of ram. Im on a G4 any advice!

I am wondering what happens if I buy some real estate property ( a condo unit) while I am on H1B, and if i moved out of country, (H1B - 6Yrs completed) do i need to sell the property (condo) before i leave country? Can i rent this unit while i am away from country? On a new H1B can i come and stay in that home? Anybody experienced this case before? Please give me details as much as possible. Thanks.

You need a visa to enter Canada that can be applied from any Canadian Consulate in the US. Indian nationals in the US without Permanent Residency/Green Card are required to have a valid visa to enter Canada irrespective of their status in the US.
