Please provide your valuable thoughts.
I have a Masters degree in the profession I'm working with 2 yrs of work exp prior to starting at this company. Altogether I have 5+ yrs of exp (prior + current).
My job requirements states "BA/BS or equivalent required with 5+ yrs of work exp".
I've read at some sites that if a candidate doesn't have a Masters degree, a Bachelor's + 5 yrs of exp will suffice, but the job description should require a Master's degree. In this case, I have a Master's degre with my job requirement saying "Bachelor's + 5yrs". Will I qualify for EB2? Please suggest.
Also what other options (tweaking requirements a bit) will you suggest?

Some portions of the animation might have numerous edges that take a long time for your processor to process. You really cannot avoid that unless you have any background programs running.

Do priority dates matter now?
with the deluge of applications that will be filed,will the priority dates matter anymore?
lets say someone with a priority date of Dec 2006 (EB2-ROW) applied for 485 in Feb 2007...will his case be processed before a person with a September 2005 priority date that filed in July 2007 (EB2-India)?
so other than allowing us to file the 485 the priority date has no value?

Approximately 20,000 petitions qualifying for the advanced degree cap exemption had been filed. I went for Fingerprinting for I-485 case seond time on 9th May. When it is updated in your profile at uscis website. I see it is still showing up old dates as LUD.
Any idea ?
I gave my Fingerprints also. So far i did not see any LUD. I dont know what they are doing. Simply ignore it. There is nothing to do ourside.

All,

- I have an approved I140 by my current employer and waiting for 485 to become current.
- I am in the 7th year of my H1 with current validity till mid 2011.
In case I lose job with the current employer, and the employer withdraws H1-B and I140, what are the options I have?
Can I transfer H1 or apply for H1-B with another employer? How much grace period I have to leave the country?
Appreciate any help from you guys.

I have an approved I -140 from previous employer and 6 years is over in USA.
I got a H1B transfer to a different employer last year ( 2009 ) based on this approved I 140 ( H1B was approved around Aug 2009 - given till March 2011 ).
Now I filed for another H1B transfer to another employer. But around September 2009, the previous I 140 was revoked ( this revocation is normal one and not for fraud ). I didn't know about that. So an RFE came for the new H1B transfer since my I 140 was revoked. I don't have a GC on file right now. I had the impression that normal revocation of I 140 doesn't effect H1B transfer. PLEASE HELP!! What are my options?

You should bring evidence of your strong ties to the country where you live now - evidence of a job, family, house, club memberships, bank accounts, etc. Anything you can think of that would show an immigration officer that you really intend to return home at the end of this trip.

Folks, I'm in the current sitation. In 6th year of H1B, aplied for PERM labor pending with ATL processing center for >15 mtonhs. Attorneys are filing for 7th year extension. I need to traval in the next 2 weeks but not confident enough to get everything right, I need my visa stamped aswell, which with the current H1B validity, would be onlyuntil 22nd Oct 2009. I did try to convince my Managers that they file the extension under premium processing and I could get extended visa until Oct 2010, but Attorney advised that it is not necessary and I should be fine to go, get my visa stamped and come back.
2 points I'm concerned about are,
1. Since I have < 6 months validty on current H1B is it safe to travel and I would hopefully have my extsntion reciept number when I go for stamping.
2. Heard lot about denial of entry at POE, I'm trying to avoid certain airports that I has problems (JFK, EWR etc). Not sure I'm doing enough to be safe.
Any advise is greatly appreciated.
