I saw soft LUDs on all our applications at NSC (pending 485s, 131s and approved 765s) on 12/12 and 12/15. This should mean some sort of system update on NSC, is it ? or should I look forward to good/bad news :confused: ? My PD is nowhere close to the current cut off date for EB2-I.

Guys, My labor was moved to Dallas Backlog center and got approved in 2006. When I searched its detail in files from flcdatacenter.com, I could not find any labor that matches my ETA number. I am not sure if there is any way to get the details. Though, online status site of Dallas backlog center shows the status but without any usable details. My labor's ETA number starts with D-xxxxx-xxxxx. Does any body has similar ETA number ?

My spouse is on H4 currently. Have applied for H1 in April 2007 and got the H1 aproved. So the new H1 starts on Oct 2007. However, we applied for 485 and got our EAD's (No recept number, No finger printing etc).

Can my spouse use EAD to start job? we dont want use that new H1 currently. What are the implications if we use EAD? Will the H1 (and my H1) be effected?

Thanks for this great service... Appreciate if you can pl provide your inputs to my situation below :

Jan'09 : My Employer submitted H1B - Vacation Recapture + Extension based on pending I-140

Feb'09 : RFE was issued asking information related to Company

Feb'09 : H1B - 6 Years completed : H1B Visa / I-94 Expired in Passport

Mar'09 : RFE responded with the requested information

Apr 10, 2009 : USCIS Denied H1B Extension petition.

I understand from my employer that I can no longer be on the US payrolls and that I've to leave the country in 180 days.

Is Motion to Reopen (MTR) / Appeal is an option to legally stay in US ? If MTR is submitted, can I continue to work for the employer / client and get paid ?

Appreciate your inputs in this area.

Hi,

I finished my six years of H1B in August 2008. I filed my I140 with concurrent filing in July 2007. I also received my EAD card (pending I140) but I never used it. The time has come to renew my H1B for the upcoming year. My employer filed I129, which was approved by USCIS. Now my employer is asking me to renew the EAD but I don't want to spend the money. Do I have to have the EAD with my H1B? What do you guys think?

Hi All,
Now I have some questions regarding the process after getting Visa. I have read threads about airlines and medical insurance on this forum.

I was wondering if someone can shed light on finally what is a good medical insurance to buy, my father is 65 and mom is 60 and both have health issues.

Please let me know which insurance to buy which will cover their international travel plus stay in US

Also, please let me know which airlines are good for parents. I am east coast. My parents will definitely need assistance and I am also looking for someway I can have some travel companion for them. Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks a ton.

My AP approvals are lost in mail, my employer mailed them in ordinary mail during holiday season (12/11/07). What can I do next? Go thru attorney for duplicates? Please advice.

USCIS will not issue duplicates for AP, you will have to re-apply with a fee.

Hi,
Find below my current visa status

1. H1B 6 years completing in Jul 2009. My firm will apply for extension in March time frame

2. I have applied for I-485 and have EAD + AP.

I am planning to travel to India for a week on AP sometime in May. I have the following Qs on this

1. Can I travel to India with AP when H1B extn is pending.

2. Will I face any issue while entering the US if my H1B is denied (or) there is an RFE on my appln?

Please answer these for me.
