I am doing 245i myself. I send I485 for AOS in late Sept, 2010. Had fingerprints done on Nov 3rd. I haven't heard anything from them since October so I dont know if everything is okay.

Hello,
I am from India and currently visiting USA on B2 visa. I recently got a job with a very reputed firm in US and applied for an H1B but my application reached USCIS after the H1B quota was full.
I really want to work for my new employer and would like to know what other options do I have to obtain work permit in USA other than L1 Visa?

If it is a non profit research org or institute of higher education then H1 will not be counted towards quota. On the other hand if you have the credentials you can try for "O" VISA

How are stamping scenarios these days at Chennai?..esp"lly due to PIMS stuff...
I have followed lot of discussions around H1 stamping and people got struck for weeks/months in India due to PIMS and other issues..
Is it advisable to go for H1 stamping as i'm into 7 th year of extension and I can't afford getting stuck in India for more than the granted period of vacation...I have approved AP documents handy and can use them while coming back to US...
Can someone pls advise me on this?

Basically you punch in your DBEC or PBEC receipt number and your city and state then your e-mail and the system will automatically e-mail you once your job is posted.

We received our H1B renewal approvals last week, and noticed on my wife's 797A that class type mentioned as H1B for the petition type I-539. It's supposed to be H4.
I informed our attorney and she emailed CSC about the same.
Has any one come across a similar thing ?

under OPT you are still on F1 Visa...If you join another degree, you can still have F1, I believe you just need to inform the university on which your visa was issued about the university transfer. International affairs at your new univ. should help in this regard.

I have I-140 approved and waiting for PD to become current. Wife , however, is from ROW country and i am looking to applying I-485 for both of us using Cross Chargeability.
Is Cross Chargeability guaranteed to work or do USCIS employees have a discretion if they approve it or not ?
After researching a lot it seems like lot of people have had a hard time in being successful in conveying their CC eligibility to USCIS. What is the difficulty in conveying CC eligibility to USCIS? It seems like people mentioned about their CC in a cover letter to their I-485 but USCIS would miss reading or understanding this information. What is the secret to successfully conveying CC eligibility to USCIS ?

I'm creating a car game. i managed to get the car moving and all, but i dunno how to make the car collide with the obstacles when it hits it.
How do i make it such away that if the car overlaps the kind of obstacle i want, dont have to be simple shapes but mostly oddly shaped obstacles, it would stop. that'll be good.
